Service Learning

Learn more about MBU

Urban Up is the service learning arm of the Campus Ministry office. This is when the student body gives back, serves, and ministers to it’s city. Some examples are helping out at the food pantry, serving the homeless through soup kitchens, Winter Patrol, ministering to the refugees in South County, and helping the local churches.  Every student is invited and encouraged to be a part. Let us remember the words of Paul appeal to the Corinthians, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich” (2 Cor. 8:9, ESV). In the same way, let us lay down our livelihood for the sake of those often neglected.
