We do require all international students in F-1 or J-1 status to have health insurance, and we automatically enroll students in the university’s plan. If you are already covered by a plan from your home country, we will need a completed insurance waiver request form along with a copy of the policy and insurance card by the end of the first week of classes in order to consider a waiver. The policy will be sent to our insurance company for evaluation, and if it meets our minimum requirements, we may waive all or part of the school’s policy requirement.
